Although Detroit has nothing on Chicago, the moment I got into the city I could feel the pride Detroit-ers carry with them everywhere. The Motor-city was a lot less busy, colorful, and exciting but I knew this little place had a lot of culture and history behind it. It was the first time I got to put a face to all my class-mates hometown, the first time I got to see my hockey rivals stadium, and the first time I got to see Canada. I also did some research on the best places to visit in Detroit, and ended up at an awesome BBQ place called Slows… one I’ll never forget! It was also an amazing experience to bring my camera and take pictures! I will be back very soon to heighten my culture of the Dirty D even more next time!
